    Surfersvillage Global Surf News, Sunset Beach, Oahu, HAWAII - (Tuesday, November 29, 2005) - -  The O'Neill World Cup of Surfing has been put on hold for today, there will be no contest today. The swell continues to drop. Waves are 4 - 5' and dropping. This is too small to hold competition.

    Surfersvillage Global Surf News, Sunset Beach, Oahu, HAWAII - (Monday, November 28, 2005) - The third day of action at the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing is ON. Day 3 has started, the men's round of 96 heat 14 started off the action. Conditions are still insane. We're seeing a continued 6 - 10' swell with occasional 12' sets. Men's round of 96 and 64 will be completed today.  No women's contest today.

    Surfersvillage Global Surf News, Sunset Beach, Oahu, HAWAII - (Sunday, November 27, 2005) - The second day of action at the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing is ON. The men's contest currently underway in a solid 6 - 10' swell with a little left over bump from yesterdays strong winds, which is expected to clean up later this morning.  Men's round 3 and most of round 4 will run today. No women's contest today.

    O'Neill World Cup of Surfing Day 2 kicks -off in perfect conditions.

    Surfersvillage Global Surf News, Sunset Beach, Oahu, HAWAII - (Sunday, November 27, 2005) - The second day of the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing waiting period sees the contest being put on hold. Small surf and inconsistent conditions prompted organisers to put the contest on hold for the day due to small messy surf, and onshore winds which are expected a bit later in the day.

    O'Neill World Cup of Surfing waiting period kicks-off.

    Surfersvillage Global Surf News, Sunset Beach, Oahu, HAWAII - (Wednesday, November 25, 2005) - The holding period for the second jewel of the 2005 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, the six-star prime WQS O'Neill World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach, runs from Friday, November 25th through Tuesday, December 6th, 2005 at Sunset Beach. Four full days of competition are required to complete the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing. The contest is held on the days when the surf is biggest and best as determined by the contest director. Daily start time 8 am.

    O’NEILL SUNSET CHALLENGE FOR WOMEN

    O’Neill, the world’s original surf brand, has announced the inclusion of a $10,000 women’s event in conjunction with the men’s O’Neill World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach, November 25 to December 6, reigniting the Vans Women’s Triple Crown of Surfing for 2005. As part of the second jewel in the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing on Oahu’s famous North Shore, the O’Neill World Cup of Surfing Sunset Challenge will be open to the world’s top 17 ranked women surfers from the ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) World Championship Tour, along with seven wildcards, yet to be announced. The seventh wildcard invitation will go to O’Neill’s Junior Pro Island Girl event winner, Bethany Hamilton, who dominated the junior pro event in 4-6 foot waves last month on Kauai’s South Shore.
