Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 4 January, 2006 : - - Tens of thousands of spectators will converge on Half Moon Bay to experience this year’s contest. Avoid the traffic & parking hassles, and take a Mavericks Shuttle Bus. Leave from SBC Park in San Francisco and be dropped off at the contest’s front door. Then walk straight out to the beach at Mavericks.  

Departure times:  6:00am & 9:00am

This year's Bus Shuttle will include:

Roundtrip service from SBC Park in San Francisco
Gourmet lunch
Official 2006 Contest T-Shirt
Mavericks Boat Tour

There is no better way to see the event than from the water. Be out in the waves a couple hundred yards from the line up. It’s the best seat in the house! Reserve now to ensure that you have one of the few remaining spot on one of the contest boats.

This year’s Boat Tour will include:

Exclusive access to one of our official boat charters, making round-trips to the Mavericks break (7:30am - 10:30am; or 11:00am - 2:00 pm).
Gourmet lunch and non-alcoholic beverages.
Copy of the official DVD of the 2004/2005 Contest

When the contest is called, things will happen very quickly. 
We will send you an email alert at least 24 hours in advance; it will be up to you to get to the boat or bus on time. 
In fact, we recommend that you arrive early.
