New art, videos, features and daily information are an invitation to all surf fans to bookmark the new site as a daily stop. The 2006 Contest almost happened this week when huge swells were tracked from deep in the Pacific. Close...very close.

The 24:
This section hosts profiles on each of this year's 24 surfers. In the accompanying "Ask the 24" section you can pose a question to one of the members and many will be selected and posted.

The Tribe:
We invite you to help us build a dynamic Forum section which this year will be expanded to create an entire "The Tribe" area. Members will enjoy special offers, access to rare footage, photos and the ability to create their own Mavericks Profiles with pictures, blogging and videos.
