10th Annual Oceania Cup - Samoa - Tahiti crowned Team Champions

Tahiti claims title of Champion nation after the finals of the 10th Oceania Cup were held in Samoa recently.

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 January, 2006 : - - Tahitian surfers claimed titles in three of the four divisions contested with Australian Indigenous surfers claiming places in the finals of three divisions.

Scott Winch came second in the Open Men’s with Otis Carey also claiming second place in the Junior Men’s. Carey then backed up to take third place in the Open Men’s while Amber Mercy came fourth in the Open Women’s.
