Island Style Promo to manage Hang Ten Malfunction

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 28 February, 2006 : - - Australia's foremost surf promotions company Island Style Promotions promoters of Australia's richest series of longboard events the Suzuki Pro Longboard Tour and the popular Longboard Legends Tour has been approach by the Gold Coast Malibu Club  Inc to manage the Hang Ten Malfunction Longboard Surfing Contest to be staged 11th, 12th & 13th  May 2006.

The proposal is to stage the Gold Coast Malibu Club's 23rd annual surfing contest at  its preferred venue, Rainbow Bay on the southern end of the Gold Coast. The Hang Ten Malfunction  will for the first time in a number of years include a Open Pro division which will be a fully sanctioned Surfing Australia/ASP Australasia event and will be part of the Australian Longboard Circuit (ALC).

There is also provision for the inclusion of a Womens Pro division in the Malfunction for the first time.
