Mavericks 2006 Season DVD Premiere Party Set for San Francisco

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 28 July, 2006 : - - Mavericks Fans: In celebration of the 2006 Mavericks Surf Contest presented by Verizon Wireless Official DVD that was released Tuesday in stores around the world, we're excited to announce the first ever Mavs DVD Premiere Party!

Hosted right here in San Francisco at The Independent on Friday August 11th, the open-to-the-public event will feature a special screening of the newly released DVD, as well as a special musical performance by Mavericks' quintessential sound, The Mermen.

Jeff Clark and many of The 24 will be on hand to help celebrate the release, so mark your calendars with the details below and we'll see you there!

The 2006 Mavericks DVD Premiere Party:

What: Screening of the 06 DVD, Musical performances by The Mermen and a special guest, Drink specials at the bar, Members of The 24 on hand.
Where: The Independent, 628 Divisadero Street, San Francisco
When: Friday, August 11th. Doors 8:30pm, Show 9pm
Tickets: $10 in advance/$12 at the door
