Monster Energy's Mike Metzger & Shane Dorian Up For MTV's 2006 "Sickest Sports Moment" Award

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 28 July, 2006 : - - Carlsbad CA. -- Two Monster Energy-backed  athletes have a chance at MTV immortality this Sunday (July 30th) as  nominees for the popular video music channel's 2006 "Sickest Sports  Moment" on the program All That Rocks.

Officials at MTV's All That Rocks program cited Monster Energy's Mike  "The Godfather" Metzger's mind numbing 110-foot back flip over the  fountain at Caesar's Palace this past May 4th as one of the year's  sickest sports moments, along with Monster Energy-backed Shane  Dorian's behemoth barrel ride at the Teahupoo break off the coast of  Tahiti (Sept. 11, 2005).
