    Dungeons cracks the whip, again

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 20 August, 2006 : - - It started off slowly, but it’s ended up an unprecedented season for Cape Town’s premiere big-wave break with Dungeons exploding again at 20-foot plus last week Tuesday.

Although not as humungous as the previous mega-sessions, huge, perfect swells were hurling themselves across the reef, focussing their energy on the notorious Slab to deliver some insane pits for the tow-in crew on hand.

The day wasn’t without its dramas though, with Twiggy getting concussed and paying a visit to the hospital. Fortunately, no long-term damage was sustained and surfers enjoyed a long day of filthy waves.
