RYAN HELM WINS JUPITER PRO FALL CLASSIC & TAKES 1ST PLACE IN AIR SHOW

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 20 November, 2006 : - - Jupiter Beach, Florida:- - Continuing his string of recent contest and air show victories, Ryan Helm rolled through the annual Jupiter Beach Pro Fall Classic, slashing and boosting his way to take 1st place in the Open Men's Pro Final and Air Show respectively.  

Helm just returned from a Quiksilver photo trip to Barbados with 8 X World Champ Kelly Slater. While there, Ryan won a local Pro-Am Contest sponsored by Red Bull at the infamous Soup Bowls. Perhaps some of Slater's winning ways rubbed off a little on Ryan in light of his strong finish this weekend in Jupiter Beach.  

Prior to heading down to Barbados, Ryan placed runner-up in the 2006 Quiksilver King of the Peak Contest and took 1st Place in the ESM Air Show, held at Sebastian Inlet. Ironically, Ryan was just one scoring wave shy of advancing at the recently held XCEL PRO in Hawaii. As fate would have it, if Ryan had gotten that second score, he would have missed out on the QS King of the Peak, the Barbados trip with Slater and quite possibly this event as well.
