Just one day to go until the final of the Quiksilver King of the Groms in Capbreton

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 30 July, 2007 : - - Just one day to go until the final of the Quiksilver King of the Groms in Capbreton, and the line-up for this international surfing competition is starting to take shape. The 2007 King of the Groms final will take place from Tuesday July 31st, until Sunday August 5th at the SANTOCHA Beach in Capbreton, France.

An international qualifying tour for the final in Capbreton, the Series looked for the best young surfers on all the continents. In each region (Europe, Australia, USA, Indonesia, South Africa, Tahiti, Japan, Reunion, South America and Saint Martin making its debut in the European series this year), mini-championships have been held, enabling local surfers to qualify for the final event in Capbreton*.

In Europe, 13 stages (including three in France) were scheduled in seven countries. The top three surfers in the European rankings will win a ticket to the final in Capbreton. 16 selected surfers have qualified directly for the final in Capbreton, as seeds.
