Where action sports, music and life collide, Boardfest ’07 offers something for every level of involvement, synergistically weaving surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding competitions featuring 100 high-caliber women athletes, surfing and skateboarding clinics, live music & entertainment, activities, attractions and exhibits.  More information is available at boardfest.com.

The inaugural Go211 Boardfest Triple ThreatSM features top women professional surfers, skateboarders and snowboarders competing against each other in all three boardsport disciplines.  The cumulative leader following three rounds of intense competition will be awarded a $1,000 grand prize and the first annual Boardfest Triple Threat trophy.  Heidi Kreis, Chanelle Sladics, Holly Lyons and Holly Beck are the early favorites.

In addition to a world-class “street course” made in Germany of Finnish birch, Boardfest adds a challenging and massive “mini half-pipe” right off the Warped Tour for the Go211 Skate Zone.  Multi-champion and living legend Holly Lyons (Walnut Creek) is among the top competitors vying for the first-ever Boardfest “vert” title on Labor Day.

Go211.com will capture all the action with daily video and blog updates of the competitions and behind the scenes footage from Boardfest at go211.com/boardfest.  Go211 Pro Team surfers Holly Beck and Mary Osborne will do double duty competing in the event, as well as reporting and providing insights on all the festivities.
