Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 21 September, 2007 : - -   ISA Announces host of 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship: The International Surfing Association (ISA), the World Governing Authority for surfing, has chosen France as the location for the 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship. 

The event will be organized by the ISA’s National Governing Body for surfriding in France, Federation Francaise de Surf (FFS) in Capbreton, France, May 24 - June 1.

Four decades on, Vierra lifts Yoshida back to World Champ status

Forty years after winning her first international title, Kauai's Blanche Yoshida, 54, and her rookie team partner Kalani Vierra, 41, lay claim to the crown again today.
