Justen “Jughead” Allport signed to Freeballers

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 15 November, 2007 : - - Big wave surfer Justen “Jughead” Allport has been signed to Aussie surf-denim brand, Freeballers. Jughead will join fellow big wave rider, Evan Faulks and Blake Thornton on the Freeballers team. Allport is considered one of the best big wave/extreme surfers in the world, famous for riding a 60-foot wave at Ghost Tree, then subsequently having his leg broken in four places by the same wave.

Freeballers Managing Director, Chris Northwood said Allport would be a valuable addition to the team. “We’re stoked to have Justen riding for us; his career goals as a free surfer are perfectly suited to the Freeballers brand. “Justen is one of the most courageous surfers we’ve ever come across, we’re looking forward to helping him chase as many big swells as possible,“ Chris said.
