Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 26 January, 2008 : - - Honolulu - The official holding period for the Monster Energy Pipeline Pro, presented by Billabong, commences tomorrow and runs through February 6. A rising swell along the North Shore of Oahu this-afternoon could see the event get underway as early as 8 a.m. tomorrow morning. Competitors, officials and media should be ready for an immediate start.

Event status will be announced each morning via an email alert for media. It will also be posted on-line at www.billabongpro.com, as well as on the official hotline: (808) 638-RUSH.
