NO COMPETITION MONDAY FOR MONSTER ENERGY PIPELINE PRO

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 28 January, 2008 : - - Honolulu - Continued poor surf along the North Shore of Oahu today has placed the Monster Energy Pipeline Pro, presented by Billabong, on hold. A rising NW swell and more favorable conditions bode well for a start tomorrow morning. The holding period for this event runs through February 6, requiring three full days of competition.

Event status will be announced each morning via an email alert for media. It will also be posted on-line at billabongpro.com as well as on the official hotline: (808) 638-RUSH.
