Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 4 April, 2008 : - - For the 7th year, Brétignolles Sur Mer city with support of the general council of Vendée will welcome the Vendée Surf Pro WQS from the 15th to 20th of April 2008. This event is one of the most important competitions on the world circuit.

This competition (the 3rd most important in France after The Quik Pro France and the Sorruz Lacanau Pro) factors in for the qualification of the World Championship Tour (WCT) - the 44 best surfers of the world. 135 surfers from France, Brazil, USA,Portugal, Spain (...) will be there to try to win and take a share in the prize money of $80 000,00 and to ride the best waves in Vendée, a quality reef wave of power: La Sauzaie.

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 4 April, 2008 : - - Pour la 7ème année consécutive, la ville de Brétignolles Sur Mer avec le soutien du Conseil Général de la Vendée acceuillera :  le Vendée Surf Pro WQS **** du 15 au 20 avril 2008 l'une des compétitions les plus importantes du circuit mondial.

Cette épreuve (troisième plus importante compétition de l'hexagone après le Quik Pro France et le Sooruz Lacanau Pro) est une des étapes clés dans les qualifications pour accéder au WCT (world Championship Tour : le circuit regroupant les 44 meilleurs surfers de la planète. )

135 Surfers venus du monde entier (France, Brésil, USA, Portugal, Espagne...) se disputeront un price money de 80 000,00 $ sur la meilleure vague vendéenne, une vague de reef permettant un surf puissant et de qualité: La Sauzaie.
