Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 29 April, 2008 : - - The Moskito Tour was founded in 2001. it is an established part of the French and Spanish surfing calendar for young kids of all levels. 2007 was the year of the changes for the Moskito Tour with 4 new legs: Santander - Spain, Newquay - England, la Torche and les Sables d'Olonne - France. It was a real success in terms of attendance, level of surfing, organization,…
 
The event is open to all levels of surfing with 2 main categories

Girls      
12 and under    
16 and under    

Boys
10 and under
12 and under
14 and under
 
In 2008 the Tour is getting even bigger with a new event In Guadeloupe. As we are all aware, the level of surfing in the Caribbean islands is high and the young surfers are really present there so the Moskito Tour has to be there...
 
It’s a 2-day event run through the weekend. Here’s a rough plan of the daily program.

Before each legs the children can enter the contest by sending an mail to moskitotour@yahoo.com, via the club,... This year, we recommend enrolling in advance, it is the only way for the organization to do a correct ranking. The inscription is 5 euros and includes lunches for Saturday and Sunday.

Le Moskito Tour 2008

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 29 April, 2008 : - - Le Moustik Tour a été créé en 2001 et l’événement n’a depuis jamais cessé de prendre de l’importance. L’édition 2007 fut synonyme de nouveau départ pour le Moustik Tour. Tout d’abord, une volonté d’exporter la compétition en Europe et d’augmenter les étapes fit changer de nom à la compétition.

Le Moustik Tour devient le Moskito Tour.  Cette nouvelle formule passa également de 3 à 7 étapes au niveau de l’Europe : Angleterre, France, Espagne et Portugal ! Ce fut réel succès avec des records au niveau de la  participation, jusqu'à 120 kids sur étape, de la qualité de l’organisation, du niveau de surf…. !

Comme pour les sept éditions précédentes, le Moskito Tour 2008, garde le même principe. La compétition est ouverte à tous les kids de moins de 16 ans quel que soit leur niveau:

Les inscriptions peuvent se faire, via le club de surf, via mail à mokitotour@yahoo.fr Chaque étape se déroulera sur deux jours : samedi et dimanche. RDV à 8h30 le samedi pour le début des inscriptions. (9h30 / Fin définitive des inscriptions) L’inscription est de 05 euros.
