Life On A Board apparel continues West Coast expansion

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 30 April, 2008 : - - With the addition of well known designer David Carson, former NHS Skateboard Distribution Production Coordinator Lisa Swanson, and former Solitude/Instinct Sales Manager Tom Brown, Life On A Board (LOAB) is pleased to announce the expansion of their West Coast sales team.

“As we spread the LOAB stoke to the West Coast market we have attracted several veterans from the industry,” enthused Brown. Mike Mayhan represents LOAB in the OC and San Diego County.  Mike comes from stints with both Cult and Katin.  He currently reps several lines including Aussie Dogs.  “I am stoked to join the LOAB brand and believe 100% in the environmental philosophy they represent,” says Mayhan.

Ryan Sundberg brings a bag full of manufacturers to the table including Astrodeck, Truth Soul Armor, Innes, and Hotsuits.  With years of surfing experience and contacts, Ryan is a fantastic addition to LOAB.  He will assist in the Northern California market.

Concentrating on the boutique and specialty retail market will be Missy Almester for the Los Angeles region.  A recent grad of the Los Angeles Fashion Institute, Missy has picked up several lines including SunScape Eyewear and Life After Denim.  Diana Barbiani is well-known in the boutique and specialty markets of San Diego County.  She is already successfully bringing orders from the resort and sporting goods retailers.

“The addition of these experienced reps to the LOAB sales team rounds out our California sales force.  Their boarding experience and sales contacts will definitely be a great asset to the future growth of Life On A Board.  We are assembling the best team possible to introduce our brand to the boardsport industry,” states co- founder Dave Pazgan.
