Underground Products adds Florida's Scott Marvin to team

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 May, 2008 : - - Underground Products (UGP) is proud to announce the addition of East Coast ripper Scott Marvin to its team of professional athletes. 29-year-old Marvin joins UGP as the brand’s first professional surfer.
 
Marvin grew up surfing on the big Island of Hawaii. During his early teen years, he relocated to Cocoa Beach, Florida, with his family and continued to advance with his surfing career.  He currently resides in St. Augustine Beach.

For 2008, Marvin plans to concentrate on major East Coast surf contests, photo trips and travel to various locations each month with a new television series called Island Hoppers.  Island Hoppers is a show about the search for surf, music and local culture in the Caribbean Islands that airs on Sun Sports Network and Planet X.
 
In addition to UGP, Marvin is also sponsored by Walker Surfboards, Gul Wetsuits, Kaenon Sunglasses, On A Mission Traction and Blue Sky Surf Shop.
