ISA Masters Anti Doping Test Results: Negative     > Espanol abajo

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 20 May, 2008 : - - San Diego - The International Surfing Association (ISA) is pleased to announce that results for the 2008 ISA World Masters Surfing Championship anti doping tests all came back negative where all finalists were tested.

This years event saw competitors ages 35 and over from 17 different nations from around the world.  The competition took place over 6 days and concluded with South Africa taking home the team championship.  The Masters division was won by Juan Ashton (PRC), Grandmasters Rob Page (AUS), Kahunas Mark Wright (ZAF), Grand Kahunas Chris Knutsen (ZAF), and Women’s Masters Heather Clark (ZAF).

The ISA is committed to a doping-free sport by performing anti doping testing at all ISA events and complying with its Anti Doping Code which is based on the World Anti Doping Agency’s (WADA) code.

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 20 May, 2008 : - - San Diegor – La International Surfing Association (ISA) se enorgullece en anunciar que los resultados del Test Antidoping del ISA World Masters Surfing Championship 2008 dieron todos negativos, los finalistas del evento realizaron la prueba.

El evento de este año vio competidores mayores de 35 años provenientes de 17 países. La competencia duró seis días y concluyó con la victoria de Sudáfrica, que volvió a ganar en la posición general por equipos. La división Masters fue vencida por Juan Ashton (PRC), la Grand Masters por Rob Page (AUS), la Kahunas por Mark Wright (ZAF), la Grand Kahunas por Chris Knutsen (ZAF), y la Damas Masters por Heather Clark (ZAF).

La ISA está comprometida a fiscalizar un deporte libre de dopaje, realizando exámenes antidoping en todos sus eventos y cumpliendo con el Código Anti Dopaje que se basa en el código de la Agencia Mundial Anti Dopaje (siglas en inglés: WADA).
