No Fear Forms Partnership to Open Two Retail Stores in Oahu

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 July, 2008 : - - Carlsbad -- California-based action sports lifestyle brand No Fear announces today that it has formed a partnership with two independently-owned Skin Industries retail stores in Oahu, Hawaii. The two stores, owned and operated by Paul and Stacy Clayton, are based in Kapolei and Kaneohe and are to be renamed as No Fear storefronts.

The two new No Fear stores not only further mark the retail expansion of No Fear across the United States of America, but also mark the brand’s first retail initiative into the Hawaiian marketplace. Having recently opened two new stores in Altamonte Springs, Florida and Lakeland, Florida, with the addition of the cooperative venture with the Claytons, No Fear now operates a total of 49 retail stores throughout the nation.

“Paul and Stacy Clayton have been key contributors to No Fear’s presence in Hawaii for years now,” says Britt Galland, No Fear Vice President of Marketing. “For our type of consumer — young men interested in alternative sports lifestyles such as MMA, motocross, wakeboarding, surfing and music — it is very important for us to have a strong presence in the Hawaiian Islands.

We felt that in order for us to be successful there, it was important to form this relationship with Paul and Stacy as their knowledge of the marketplace is integral for both our immediate and long term success and growth in the 50th state.”
