Lightning Strikes – Mick Fanning’s path to the 2007 ASP World Title on SuperSport

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 3 July, 2008 : - -  Follow Mick Fanning as he rips his way through 10 stops on the 2007 ASP Dream Tour to his first ever ASP World Title when Lightning Strikes premieres on SuperSport 5 at 7pm on Sunday.

The one hour show features high energy competition and electric freesurfing from Mick and his sparring partners Dean Morrison and Joel Parkinson as they raise the bar of cutting edge surfing, including epic flashbacks of Mick as a micro-grom, his wildcard win at the 2001 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach and his career threatening injury in 2004

For more information on the man known as White Lightning, his road to the title, photos, videos and downloads, go to ripcurl.com/?lightningstrikes. With the 2008 ASP World Tour set to touch down at Jeffreys Bay next week, an event Mick has won twice, there’s never been a better time to get the lowdown on the reigning world champion!
