    Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay Off Today - Next Call Tomorrow at 7am

    Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 12 July, 2008 : - - Round 3 of the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay has been called off for the day. Dying swell has prompted event officials to look deeper into the 11-day waiting period to assess which two days of the eight left will offer the best scoring potential for the remaining ASP Top 45 surfers.

    According to Surfline, the official forecaster for the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay, the surf will be ping through the weekend with conditions looking most promising for the middle part of next week. The next swell is expected to gradually build over the afternoon on Monday and looks best through the afternoon on Tuesday. A second push is expected to build over the afternoon on Wednesday and hold through Thursday.

    When Round 3 does commence, the first heat will feature World No. 3 Bede Durbidge (AUS) vs. Brazil’s Leonardo Neves. Another call on competition status will be made tomorrow morning at 7.
