Sea Sessions bring music fest to Bundoran, Co Donegal

Set beside the shore line of Bundoran, Co Donegal, this electrifying new festival takes place the weekend of the 19-21 September.
We promise to ‘wet’ your appetite with an eclectic line-up to include Asian Dub Foundation, Kila, Republic of Loose, David Kitt, DJ Donal Dineen, Juno Falls, Stewart Agnew, Belle and Sebastian DJ set and many more,
Bundoran plays host to an array of local, national and international surfers throughout the year. ‘We have been surfing in Bundoran for years and have seen the sport grow and grow. We want to show that this is not some elitist sport for a few, but a fun way of life where everyone is welcome’ said Pete Craig of Bundoran Surf Company who is one of the organizers of this event.
For music fans & surfing enthusiasts, the acts will take place in the dramatic setting of a marquee overlooking Bundoran’s main beach and a series of world renowned surf breaks. With an ‘expression session’ surf event, skate board ramps and an array of other adrenaline sports on offer for people to sample free of charge, there was little choice but to host the event right on the beach.
Running parallel to this will be lots of family orientated activities such as go-cart racing, sand castle competitions, a fu n fair with craft and gourmet food stands. On top of this, ticket prices are offered at the affordable price of just €55 with ticketmaster outlets nationwide. Accommodation deals in Bundoran start at just €20 per person per night.
