Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 24 July, 2008 : - - Round One went off Tuesday night at Sharkeez!! The crew battled it out for points, but in the end it came down to a draw.

The first stop in the ...LOST US Open of drinking went down at SHARKEEZ on main st. in Huntington Beach last night. There was some incredible competition going on as the crew and the other contestants battled it out for points. The scoring system was given out moments before the heats started. 100 pts. for a shot, 50 pts. for a mix drink, and 25 pts. for a beer.

The funny part is the fact that no one who was in the competition could remember how many points they had scored by the end of the night! I know some were claiming the win, but the judges ruled since everyone got hammered and forgot their score, we all got the same score, and therefore a draw!!

The action picks back up tomorrow night Thursday the 24 at Kilarney's on Main st. Come join in and get the score cards ready!  The circus is coming to town in Huntington Beach this week as ...LOST presents the US Open of Drinking in Huntington Beach. We'll be throwing three parties during the US Open next week and giving you a chance to win a hangover and the title of US Open drinking champion!!
