NSP and Tiki sign on for White Air Stand Up Paddle Surfing contest

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 28 August, 2008 : - - BSUPA are delighted to announce that the White Air Stand Up Paddle Surfing contest main sponsor is NSP and Tiki. Tiki have provided a NSP stand up paddle surfing board as the first prize.  The contest is also being supported by Wight Waters Earth wind and Water and ProSport Sunblock. The contest will feature both surf and distance categories. 

The distance race will take place at the White Air base in Yaverland, the surf event will be mobile to ensure that we get the best wave riding conditions. The event is more than just a contest, in fact it is a water sports/music festival.  NSP demo boards will be available to ride over the weekend and music will be provided by the Pigeon Detectives, The Operators, Sam Isaac and Mama’s Gun, with Rob da Bank on the decks.

The start time for competitors on the Saturday morning is 8.45am.  More details will be published on the BSUPA website closer to the event time.

Contest update : The final contest of the season has changed dates and locations due to a unforeseen clash of dates with the BLU .  It will now be held on October 18-19 in Newgale, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  More details will be published on the BSUPA website
