Murasaki Pro Kitaizumi Headlines Biggest Surf Event in Northern Japan

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 29 August, 2008 : - - Kitaizumi - - The largest professional surfing festival in Northern Japan this autumn, the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Qualifying Series (WQS) 2-Star Murasaki Pro Kitaizumi commences this coming Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

Running in conjunction with the men’s ASP WQS 2-Star event will be the ASP Longboard Qualifying Series (LQS) 2-Star Sun’s Pro Longboard event as well as the ASP Grade-1 Murasaki Pro Junior. The main venue of Minami Soma in Fukushima is well known for attracting substantial swell throughout the Autumn season and event organizers are confident that solid conditions will await competitors next week.
