    ACTION PACKED DAY OF JUNIORS FOR DAY 5 OF "MURASAKI PRO KITAIZUMI"

    Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 6 September, 2008 : - - ASP Japan Pro Junior Series Grade 1 Event, "Murasaki Pro Junior Kitaizumi" got into action today as the first action for the final weekend.

    The weather at Kitaizumi this morning was slight rain and 2 to 3ft. clean wave conditions. Action started with the round of 40.As the action went red hot so did the weather and Kitaizumi welcomed the beautiful sunshine as well as the surf action. The event went thru till the quarter finals.

    The man on fire today was Shota Nakamura (JPN) who beat WQS event defending champion Teppei Tajima (JPN) yesterday .Nakamura was so hot and showed surfing of the future. Nakamura also made the combination heat score of 15.25 points and takes honor of heat high score of the event so far. Keito Matsuoka(JPN)scored an excellent 9.00 points to take the wave high score honor.

    Nobuyuki Osawa (JPN) also who is a candidate for ASP Japan Pro Junior Series Champion was eliminated from the event at quarter finals. The series ranking also means the fight for the ticket to the WJC this winter at North Narabeen. The boys and girls champion of event get closer as there are only 2 events left.

    Tomorrow is grand final day and will crown new champions. WQS, LQS, Pro Junior Boys and Girls all finals are tomorrow. Don't miss the action. First call tomorrow morning is 7:30 with a possible start at 8:00.

    All events will come to the grand final day Sunday September 7th. Over 200 surfers, domestic and international, from Hawaii and Australia are all ready to battle. Do not miss the action at Kitaizumi.
