Hideoyoshi Tanaka wins '2008 MURASAKI PRO KITAIZUMI'

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 7 September, 2008 : - - ASP WQS Series 2 Star Event "Murasaki WQS Kitaizumi" ASP LQS Series 2 Star Event "The Suns LQS Longboard Kitaizumi" ASP Japan Pro Junior Series Grade 1 Event,"Murasaki Pro Junior Kitaizumi" all 3events got into action for grand final weekend.

The weather at Kitaizumi this morning was slight rain and 1 to 2ft. clean wave conditions.The weather forecast for the weekend was hard rain with thunder but the surfers action seemed to have cleared all the skys and we even saw sunshine. Action started with all semi finals. Pro Junior Boys and Girls, LQS, WQS all events went to great success.

Shota Nakamura(JPN), Shu Hagiwara(JPN),Arashi Kato(JPN),and Koki Nakamura(JPN)made it to finals for boys event and it was Shota Nakamura who also made the finals in WQS event won the title and crowed 2008 champion.

For the girls for girls it was a battle between Sayuri Hashimoto(JPN) , Nao Omura(JPN), Asako Mizuno(JPN)and Nagisa Tahiro(JPN) . Sayuri Hashimoto wins and is crowned 2008 champion.

LQS semi final was a super show of different styles. In heat 1 Kevin Connelly (USA )and Bonga Perkins(HAW) showed us the show. Heat 2 was a all Hawaiian showdown with Kekoa Uemura(HAW and Keegan Edwards( HAW ). Edwards takes wins. The finals was an all Hawaiian showdown with Perkins and Edwards. Perkins wins and is crowed 2008 The Suns LQS Longboard Kitaizumi.

WQS semi finals were both new and old school battle. Heat 1 Naohisa Ogawa and Shota Nakamura put on a super show. Heat 2 it was Takayuki Wakita and Hideyoshi Tanaka. The finals was a new school battle by Nakamura and Tanaka. Tanaka wins and is crowed 2008 Murasaki WQS Kitaizumi champion.
