Stand Up Paddle Surfing Global is launched

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 October, 2008 : - - Matt Argyle announces the launch of supglobal.com, the online magazine for stand up paddle surfing action from around the world. Argyle founder of supuk.org has been running an online UK based website since 2007, which has covered worldwide and UK based SUP events, technique, reviews, forums and places to ride.

The website grew from getting around 40 unique hits per day in early 2007 to over 3,000 a week and it is continued to grow as the SUP market develops. In summer 2008 Simon Bassett joined forces with Matt to help create a global SUP online resource supuk.org has been relaunched as supglobal.com.  We feature stories about adventure, fitness, travel, board and equipment reviews, music and lifestyle.

We have a world class field of contributors including Todd Bradley, Nancy E. Emerson, Ivan Van Vuren, Adam Zervas, Chris “Guts” Griffiths, sports scientist Johanna Shiu, Dave Collins and Frank Forbes to name but a few.

To celebrate the launch we are giving something to everyone.  If you run an SUP website, a shop, a SUP school or even an SUP holiday company then create yourself an account online and then get over and put your company into the SUP Directory to ensure that the world can find you.  Normally this costs, but to right now registered users can add a listing for free.

As a stand up paddle surfer we are will be shortly offering a competition to win a Werner Spanker paddle.  All carbon fibre, super light and ready to rock in the surf.  All you need to do is join our forums and all will be revealed later this month.
