Firewire launches Rapidfire board with new technology

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 3 October, 2008 : - - RapidFIRE is a hybrid technology, combining the carbon rod suspension of DIRECT DRIVE with the SPRINGER technology of the Taj Pro Model. Developed in conjunction with Surfboard Suspension Systems (SSS), RapidFIRE’s core is shaped from 2lb fused EPS foam and the top deck Bamboo SPRINGER is applied using Firewire’s proven sandwich construction.

The interior carbon rods work in tandem with the top deck Bamboo Springer to optimize flex patterns, maximizing speed and drive through turns, while the Bamboo Springer also creates additional compression strength against denting. The overall effect is a highly tuned, durable surfboard with increased performance over traditional surfboard constructions. With an MSRP of $595.00, RapidFIRE also offers a great price-to-value equation for surfers.

So whether you prefer the pinnacle technology of Direct Drive, the Parabolic Balsa rail performance of Future Shapes Technology (FST), or the hybrid technology of RapidFIRE, Firewire continues to define the ‘Future of Shape’. RapidFIRE technology will be offered in various shapes and will deliver in Jan 2009.
