Divers Catch Tiger Shark Feasting on a Goat? .............. and Whale shark shits !
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 23 November, 2008 : - - Hawaii - A group diving off the Big Island saw something in the water they never imagined. A tiger shark, devouring a goat. Joyce Blutt took pictures about half a mile off Kawaiahae last Monday. She says the shark had eaten half of the goat by the time they found it.
Joyce says everyone on board the Kohala divers boat was awestruck. "We are going, oh my goodness, it's a goat, it's a shark, and everyone's all excited. And here's 11 people looking at this. Steven kept taking the boat a little closer and the shark would grab the goat again and have it in it's mouth and more of it was disappearing, It was pretty amazing" Joyce Blutt said.
Joyce says when the shark got close they realized it was a tiger because they saw it's stripes.

Whale shark going to the toilet
Shark's toilet stop caught on camera
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 23 November, 2008 : - - It's as thick as your arm, smells revolting and now it's been caught on camera for what is believed to be the first time ever............ What is it? Shark shit !
Biologists were so excited about spotting the whale shark going to the toilet, they even scooped the poop out of the water so they could keep it! But it's not as grim as it sounds - by testing the poo they can find out loads more about the giant creatures.
Despite being the world's biggest fish, very little's known about whale sharks. They can grow up to 12 metres long and are related to great whites, but they're far less scary. To eat, they swim about with their huge mouths open so they can scoop up whatever tasty treats are floating in their path.
Exciting poo: Now biologist Dr Mark Meekan says the shark's poo sample has helped them learn much more about their feeding habits. "One way to work out what is going in one end is to look at what is coming out of the other," he said. "It does seem rather weird, someone being so excited about seeing whale shark shit. "But it is pretty rare - they are usually doing their business down in much deeper water."
