Roxy Learn To Surf Tour

Roxy Learn To Surf Tour premieres on East and West coasts of South Africa

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 November, 2008 : - - Last year the Roxy Learn To Surf Tour taught over 1000 girls to surf, and over the years Roxy has taught over 10,000 girls to surf - an astounding amount that can bear testament to the fact that the Roxy learn To Surf Tour has one thing in mind – to get girls up and riding.

The Roxy Learn To Surf Tour is dedicated to teaching girls the basics of surfing and ocean safety. Roxy is a surf brand and our goals and motivations are around surf and surfing, and we concentrate our time on being in the water and catching waves. When you arrive at a Roxy Learn To Surf day you will do just that – learn how to ride waves, and subsequently get stoked on surfing.

The Roxy learn To Surf Tour ‘08 will run at premier beaches along the East and West coasts of South Africa. There are four teams of Qualified and professional coaches heading up each coastal tour. This year you can book online at computicket.co.za and for a paltry R120 you’ll become a surfer, and will receive an insane Roxy goodie bag. Entries close on the day before the lesson or once bookings are full.

Dates and times of the tours are all available on the Roxy South Africa website roxy.co.za Full booking instructions and details of claiming your goodie bag are also on the site. Bookings are open already. Check out when the tour comes to your nearest beach or a beach where you might be holidaying this year.

So if you want to enjoy your summer this year doing something healthy and fun, come along and try and Learn To Surf. Once you stand up on a wave and feel the glide you’ll be a surfer for life. The only tour prerequisite is that you know how to swim. Moms are more than welcome to come along and try as well.
