Clark Taakashima adds art gallery to My Surf World.com

Clark has grown up on the island of Oahu all his life. Clarks artwork brings together the beauty of the ocean and its surroundings. 

All of Clark’s original paintings depict insightful views of the sport of surfing, one-of-a-kind art, perspectives only a surfer can explain or begin to share. He brings the non-surfer, as well as the expert to experience this feeling so many, but so few, live to feel. A mix of impressionism and realism, his work has shown mood through color, and you are magically transported to the place where a feeling or action is realized.

His latest works, “The Dream Tour Series” are 11-24” x 48” original acrylic paintings on panel of the locations on the ASP World Tour.  Clark was inspired to paint a series with international appeal to reach a global audience, reminding us of our responsibility to care for our worlds oceans. “I t is a dream to surf these places, more importantly, It is our realityand responsibility to preserve them”.
