2009 Dream Tour Surfer Tim Boal Still Injured

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 December, 2008 : - - Capbreton -- Tim Boal (Anglet, FRA), 25, 2008 ASP European Champion, who is already guaranteed to surf on next year's ASP World Tour, has been injured for a couple of months now, missing the last ASP WQS European Series event and the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.

Boal, who suffers from a rare foot injury that does not allow him to walk, is currently recovering slowly but has not been able to surf for two months now, a testing time for the fourth Frenchman ever to qualify for the ASP Top 45.

"My foot still hurts and I cannot say when I will be able to surf again," Boal said. "I am watching the events on the web and I hope I can resurf soon."

Boal, who will be a rookie on next year's Dream Tour along with friend and recent qualifier Michel Bourez (Tahiti, PYF), luckily secured his qualification early this year after his win in the ASP WQS 5-Star Rip Curl Pro Zarautz in September.
