Angelo Lozano begins yr at O’Neill Sebastian Inlet Pro     > Espanol abajo

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 14 January, 2009 : - - After a few days of relax, the Mexican charger Angelo Lozano is getting ready for the “O’Neill Sebastian Inlet Pro”, the first event of the WQS calendar that will take place on January 12-18 at Sebastian Inlet, Florida (USA).

The member of the Squalo Team will start the competition in round 128, where he will be battling with Gabriel Villarán (Peru) and Manuel Selman (Chile). These two Latin surfers are also Lozano’s mates in the Red Bull team.

Immediately after the Sebastian Inlet, Angelo will fly to Peru to compete in the “Copa MoviStar”, a two-stars event of the WQS tour that will also set the beginning of the ALAS tour 2009.

The first stage of the ALAS tour 2009, organized by the Latin American Professional Surfers Association, will be carried out at San Bartolo’s waves.

“I’m eager to come back, this year I will start with the first two stages of the QS, with the first stage of the ALAS tour. I will have a better position this year in the ALAS because I got there as the Top 8.

I will look for more this year and I hope I’ll get the results I expect”, said the Mexican surfer from Puerto Escondido to Surfpress.

SURFOS’ “CREMA DE LATINOS”  Surfos Magazine will celebrate its 50th edition on its next number with the presentation of “Crema de Latinos”. A trip with the best Latin surfers –Lozano is among them- in the best Costa Rican spots.

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 14 January, 2009 : - - Después de unos días de descanso, el charger mexicano Ángelo Lozano se prepara para el “O’Neill Sebastian Inlet Pro”, primer evento del calendario de eventos WQS que se realizará del 12 al 18 de enero en las olas de Sebastian Inlet, Florida (USA).

El integrante del team Squalo, comenzará su participación en el round 128, instancia que compartirá con los latinos Gabriel Villarán (Perú) y Manuel Selman (Chile), ambos compañeros de Lozano en el team Red Bull.

Inmediatamente después del Sebastian Inlet, Ángelo volará hasta Perú para competir en la “Copa Movistar”, evento dos estrellas del tour WQS y que también marcará el inicio del tour ALAS 2009. En las olas de San Bartolo se disputará la primera fecha de la edición 2009 del tour ALAS organizado por la Asociación Latinoamericana de Surfistas Profesionales.

“Estoy con muchas ganas de volver a la acción, este año lo hago con las dos primeras fechas del QS y casi simultáneamente con la primera del tour ALAS. Al haber entrado al Top 8 del ALAS tendré un mejor sembrado que en años anteriores, este año iré por más y espero que los resultados me acompañen a lo largo del tour”, manifestó a Surfpress el mexicano desde la tranquilidad de su hogar en Puerto Escondido.

CREMA DE LATINOS DE SURFOS En la próxima edición de Surfos Magazine, la revista celebrará su edición número 50 con la presentación de la “Crema de Latinos”, trip que llevó a varios de los mejores surfistas latinos por distintos spots de Costa Rica, y del que Lozano fue de la partida.

“La Crema de Latinos de Surfos fue una divertida manera de cerrar el 2008, fueron varios días de surfing, amistad y buenas vibras con los boys. Hicimos buenas fotos, y la organización fue impecable, nuevamente Surfos nos trató de maravillas en Costa Rica…Esperemos que este año se repita”.
