WA Jim Beam Surftag set to go at Yallingup this weekend

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 27 January, 2009 : - - Playing upon the passion and tribal nature of surfing, the WA Jim Beam Surftag sees Boardrider clubs from around the state looking to be the best this weekend at Yallingup.

With up to 10 teams jam packed with surfing stars from across the state, this year’s event will be seriously fought out with all clubs aiming to take the bragging rights to being the states number one club and all desperately chasing at least a top two finish , with the top two teams only gaining  qualification to the Jim Beam Surftag National Final.

With Yallingup boardriders winning the last two years, having this years event on home turf might get them a hat trick, which will send them once again over east to try an improve on last years 4th position overall.

“But with the likes of Taj, Jay Davies, Damian Eastough and the Patterson brothers either away or getting over injury, it’s going to be left up to our younger crew to get us through on Saturday” president of Yallingup boardriders Luke Southerland said.

With beautiful conditions predicted this years state Jim Beam Surftag looks set to be a great day of surfing and club rivalry! The NSW Jim Beam Surftag is proudly supported by Jim Beam, FCS, O’Neill, Vmoto, Coastalwatch, Rockstar Energy Drink and Tracks.
