Great conditions for kick off of the Hyundai Malfunction
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 24 March, 2009 : - - Organisers couldn’t be happier with the conditions for the start of 2009 Hyundai Malfunction, with a 4ft ground swell and clean offshore winds predicted for the entire surfing program.
“These conditions are what every surf event dreams of” said event coordinator Sean McKeown. “Over the next few days we are going to see arguably the world’s best longboard surfers competing in what is expected to be epic conditions”
With entries from 3 of the top four rated surfers in the world Antoine Delpero, France, Harley Ingleby, NSW, Ned Snow, Hawaii as well as the US Open champion Taylor Jensen and the British Open Champion Ben Skinner, Mckeown has plenty to smile about.
The surfing competition starts at Kingscliff today with a full day of Retro surfing on boards made prior to 1981 and continues to Sunday.
If you see a good surfing wave, just shoot a free panorama or a 360 to share it with other surfers. It is easy and fun with pixeet and its fisheye lens.
