Inaugural Blue Note Karaoke Experience to aid Surfrider

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 19 May, 2009 : - - On Wednesday, May 20th, the Surfrider Foundation and Emergen-C® will host their inaugural BLUE Note Karaoke Experience at the Key Club in West Hollywood.  The BLUE Note Karaoke Experience is a unique and exciting way to raise awareness and support for the need to protect and promote clean, healthy coastal water. 

Unlike traditional Karaoke, Surfrider Foundation’s Blue Note Karaoke Experience will allow audience members to get up on stage and perform their favorite songs with the backing of a live band.  In honor of the organization’s 25th Anniversary, Surfrider Foundation has tapped LA’s own Mister Mister Miyagi to perform the most popular songs from the 80’s.

CELEBRITY GUESTS include: Annie Wersching( Fox’s 24) , Jorja Fox (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You), David Chokachi (VH1-Confessions of a Teen Idol), Kate French (The L Word), Loomis & the Lust, singer/songwriter Aimee Allen, Lorielle New (Grindhouse), Riley Weston (The Nanny Express), Jessica Sierra (American Idol), Randy Wayne (The Haunting of Molly Hartley), Sam Sarpong (MTV’s Yo Momma), David Hernandez (American Idol-Top 12 Finalist), Daniel Samonas (Wizards of Waverly Place), musicians J-Nez, Angel & Zoe Roché, Yuval David (Days of Our Lives), Rory Freedman (Author, Skinny Bitch) and celebrity interior designer Kari Whitman
