Chris Bystrom, the Legacy Continues

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 27 May, 2009 : - - As many of you know Chris Bystrom was one of the primary filmmakers of his time in both the Shortboard and Longboard genre.  Chris Bystroms 18 year old son, Josh has been working tirelessly over the past 6 months in order to keep his dad’s legacy alive and to promote and sell his fathers surf movies and memorabilia.

Josh has recently made a website to sell Bystrom DVD's, Books,  T-Shirts, Posters and has also converted a slew of his fathers surfing movies onto DVD. For the first time in almost 20 years these movies are available to be enjoyed by all.

Such Shortboard classics as “Blazing Boards”, “Beyond Blazing Boards” “Gravity Sucks”, and “Cyclone Fever” or Longboarding titles like “Blazing Longboards”, “Longboarding is Not a Crime” and “Full Cycle” are all available on the website.

Josh dreams of one day following in his father’s footsteps and producing his own surfing movies, but at this stage he is content getting out on the road selling Bystrom movies and surfing everyday.
