Surfos Magazine launches issue #52: Brian Toth, Gabriel Villaran...

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 June, 2009 : - - The number 52 edition of the SURFOS MAGAZINE is on the street and you can’t miss it.  In this edition we honor Puerto Rican Brian Toth on the frontpage.  He told us that his main goal is to find a way to get on the World Championship Tour - something that is not easy but neither impossible.

Also we look back on the amazing victory of the the new “record kid”, Carlos Muñoz on the Costa Rican Surf Championship, Muñoz became the Costa Rican Champion with only 16 years old. The “estelliro’s kid” spoke with SURFOS RADIO about his amazing achievement and he confess that he never believe he would have that king of opportunity.

The Costa Rican circuit gave a lot to talk about and not only because of “Cali’s” victory but also because Lisbeth Vindas make history winning her seven local titles.  Besides ex champion Gilbert Brown spoke hard against the Costa Rican Federation.

The 52 edition also brings an amazing review of everything that the Junior World Championship left us in Ecuador, from the arrived of the team, plus the great performance of Guillermo Satt and Carlos Muñoz until the Australian team victory.

SURFOS #52 YA ESTÁ A LA VENTA

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 June, 2009 : - - La Revista Surfos en su edición #52 ya se encuentra en la calle y no te la puedes perder.  En esta ocasión nos engalana la presencia del boricua Brian Toth en Portada, donde nos cuenta su gran meta, ser el primer latino en llegar al World Championship Tour, algo que definitivamente no es sencillo, pero tampoco imposible para alguien con el talento de Toth.

Además, la actualidad del mundo del surf tiene en sus espaldas al “hombre record”, Carlos Muñoz, donde repasamos su impresionante victoria en el Circuito Nacional de Costa Rica, convirtiéndose en el surfo más joven en lograr el cetro costarricense con tan solo 16 años.

Muñoz tuvo palabras para la prensa y por su puesto para SURFOS RADIO, donde confesó que nunca se imagino que el cuadro se le iba abrir de tal manera que tuviese la oportunidad de coronarse.  

El circuito tico di diomucho de que hablar y no solo por la victoria de Muñoz, sino también a séptima corona de Lisbeth Vindas a nivel local ó por las fuertes pero muy sinceras declaraciones de Gilbert Brown sobre la Federación Costarricense de SURF.

También la edición 52 trae un impresionante repaso de lo que fueron los países de latinoamericanos que tuvieron participación en el mundial Junior de Ecuador.  Desde la llegada de los equipos, la entrega de arenas y su inauguración, pasando por las palabras del Vicepresidente Karin Sierralta y las grandes actuaciones de los chicos Guillermo Satt y Carlos Muñoz, hasta la gran victoria del team australiano.
