Surfing Heritage Foundation gears up for movie nights

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 14 July, 2009 : - - This Friday afternoon, Surfing Heritage Foundation is presenting the second of our Indoor Surf Movies, Ultimate Sessions will screen once at 3PM. Admission is free for members, $3.00 for non-members, a good excuse for becoming a member, getting a pair of Rainbow Sandals, SHF tee-shirt, Transworld Surf subscriptions, $10 Swell.com gift certificate, bar of Sticky Bumps wax, and free entrance to the film, all while supporting a worthy cause!

Friday evening, July , Dear & Yonder, the all female Roxy movie screens at The Stronghold, 1625 Abbot Kinney, Venice Beach at 8 and 9:30PM. There's artwork and live music too! For tickets, RSVP to rsvpdearandyonder@roxy.com. If you miss it there, we'll be showing it on Friday, August 21, here at SHF, and Lisa Andersen, Sophia Mulanovich, and Kassia Meador are scheduled to attend.

Please be sure to mark your calendars for Friday, August 14, when we'll be presenting One California Day in hi-def! We're working on lining up some of the stars from the film as well as the makers of this classic. We're also looking for suggestions for Friday afternoon film titles and are open to classics and newer films, so please let us know what you'd like to see. movie suggestions
