Ross Clark Jones, Tom Carroll & company take on Storm Surfers 2 in NZ

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 11 September, 2009 : - - Storm Surfers 2, the sequel to Discovery Channel's Storm Surfers that premiered last summer in New Zealand, see’s Australians Ross Clarke-Jones and Tom Carroll team up again with top meteorologist and surf forecaster Ben Matson to track and chase the biggest storms and swells they can find, surf them and bring them to your screens.

This season they have been lured to New Zealand in search of monster waves off the coast of the South Island and during their first ‘recce’ shoot they achieved yet another world first by surfing the never before surfed, Barnes Bay on the remote west coast.

An epic mission involving the Queenstown team taking six jet skis down a river in the remote Fiordlands before breaking through a dangerous sandbar and out on to a cracking 12-15 foot wave. They were joined by local big-wave legend, Doug Young and jet ski drivers Miles Ratima, Tane Tokana and Shane Baxter
