Jesus Surf Classic Part 2 – October 17th and 18th 

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 September, 2009 : - - Following on from the very successful 17th Jesus Surf Classic  part 1, held on September 12 and 13th, at Croyde Bay, we are very pleased to announce the revised dates for the remaining categories.

The Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Juniors, and Master’s (over 35’s) will be held at Croyde Bay over the weekend of October 17th and 18th. Anyone who has previously entered and paid will have their entry carried over, however if there are any new  people that would like to enter on these dates then please get in contact as soon as soon as possible, as places will soon be filling up and are limited.

Whilst organisers Christian Surfers UK will not have the skate park there, they hope to have the remainder of the infrastructure with a marquee, barbeque, and big screen TV to show movies and generally entertain through out the weekend.

It will be a challenge for the Christian Surfers team as they are also holding there other main contest of the ‘Jesus Surf  Series’ the ‘Jesus Longboard Classic’ on the same weekend, which takes place at its traditional home of Polzeath. However, the team are confident that they can put on two high quality events at the same time, and thank in advance the helpers from  around the country who are willing to come back to serve at both these events.

The Open Surf category has £250 as its first prize and all 2nd and 3rd places have prize money awarded and some great  trophies for the winners. We look forward to welcoming competitors to both the Jesus Surf Classic Part 2, as well as the  Jesus Longboard Classic in Polzeath. (Further press release on this will be available soon)
