Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 21 September, 2009 : - - This weekend 19 and 20 September last was held the traditional cuija OPEN tournament in Pie de la Cuesta beach in Acapulco Guerrero, in honor of Jacinto Ramos extreme bodyboard event, with the participation of competitors of Cabos Zihuatanejo and Acapulco.

Event which every year takes place in this tourist destination that also has a lagoon, the Coyuca, saltwater and freshwater, where you can practice many sports, such as this. Two days of intense competition with waves that were heating up, real kamikaze wave these hardy athletes were given the "show" to take every wave

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 21 September, 2009 : - - Este fin de semana 19 y 20 de septiembre pasado se llevo a cabo el tradicional torneo CUIJA OPEN en playa Pie de la Cuesta de Acapulco Guerrero, en honor a Jacinto Ramos evento extremo de tabla de cuerpo, con la participación de competidores de los Cabos, Zihuatanejo y Acapulco.

Evento que año con año se lleva acabo en este destino turístico que cuenta  además   con una laguna; la de Coyuca, agua salada y agua dulce, donde puedes practicar infinidad de deportes, como este. Dos días de intensa competencia con olas que iban subiendo de tono, verdaderos kamikases de las olas resultaron estos intrépidos deportistas que dieron el “show” al tomar cada ola

Pie de la cuesta es una playa  de descanso pero cuando las olas se levantan cuidado, son propicias para este deporte, ola hueca que sale lo mismo para la izquierda que para la derecha, un tubo corto y potente, que afortunadamente se dio para el lucimiento de estos deportistas en este evento.

El localísimo MATEO MENDEZ con una porra tremenda fue el ganador de esta edición, su entusiasmo y maniobras le dieron el triunfo indiscutible en esta edición, un mano a mano contra el competidor de Zihuatanejo y seleccionado estatal ARTURO AYALA.
