Best short: Runman’s Groms: Lil Ray n his Frenz

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 23 October, 2009 : - - Straight outta the Pacific, Runman’s Groms: Lil Ray n his Frenz made its world debut at the New York Surf Film Festival, in late September of 2009. The eight-minute movie about 'Lil Ray the grom, other groms, and adults that act like groms' includes Titus Kinimaka, Andy and Bruce Irons, Dustin Barca, Koa Smith, Alana Blanchard, Bethany Hamilton and more was one of 36 movies, long and short that played in two rooms at the Tribeca Theater over three days – to over  3500 viewers.

But when the smoke cleared, the Viewers Choice Award for Best Short  Presented by Jet Blue and The Dominican Republic went to RUNMANS GROMS!  The award winning short will be available next month as part of the RUNMAN DVD BOX SET featuring RUNMAN ONE, RUNMAN TWO , and RUNMAN 69  - all cult punk classics from the late 80's and 90's that will make you laugh!
