'6 BOARDS' by Kepa Acero in Exponatur (Bilbao Exhition Centre, november 6th to 8th)

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 November, 2009 : - - The Bilbao Exhibition Centre will host on Friday, day 6, to Sunday, the fourth edition of the Fair of the Nature and Adventure, Exponatur 09, which will offer audiences a wide range of active tourism, adventure and alternative leisure.

Among all these offers, Kepa Acero presents his exhibition '6 boards', an exhibition of boards from diferent times and photographs of Kepa riding each one of them in a attemp to understand the importance of the past in the future.

The fair features top level conferences such as the Pou brothers (climbers), Marc Coma(winner of the Dakar Rally Argentina), Juanjo San Sebastian and Sebastian Alvaro ( "Al Filo De Lo Imposible"), and the Acero brothers(surfers) with Lurta Nikolas(Barrika Surf Camp), among others.

El BEC de Bilbo acogerá el próximo viernes, día 6, al domingo la cuarta edición de la Feria de la Naturaleza y la Aventura Exponatur 09, que ofrecerá al público una amplia oferta de turismo activo, aventura y ocio alternativo.

Entre todas estas ofertas, Kepa Acero presenta su exposición "6 tablas" , una exposición sobre tablas de surf de diferentes épocas y fotografías  con notas explicativas sobre cada una de ellas, en un intento de entender la importancia del pasado en el futuro.

La feria presenta conferencias de primer nivel como las de los hermanos Pou (Escaladores), Marc Coma (Ganador del Rally Dakar Argentina), Juanjo San Sebastian y Sebastian Álvaro ("Al Filo de lo imposible") y  los hermanos Acero (surfistas) junto a Lurta Nikolas(Barrika Surf Camp), entre otras.

Un viaje en tabla a traves del tiempo, desde los primeros 70' hasta nuestros días.

Una exposición de 6 tablas de diferentes épocas y fotografías de Kepa Acero surfeando sobre cada una de ellas en un intento de entender la importancia del pasado en el futuro. Notas explicativas realizadas por el propio Kepa sobre las diferentes sensaciones completan este ejercicio de investigación.

A journey on board through time since the begining of the 70`s until today

An exhibition of 6 boards from different times and photographs of Kepa Acero riding each one of them in an attempt to understand the importance of the past in the future. Notes on the different feelings written by Kepa himself complete this investigation exercise.
