Endless Surf Surfari – An Evening with Kevin Naughton and Craig Peterson at the Surfing Heritage Foundation
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 10 November, 2009 : - - Inspired by Bruce Brown’s The Endless Summer, Kevin Naughton and Craig Peterson embarked on a ten year road trip in 1972 that took them to practically every continent on the globe. They documented their surf adventure along way with wonderful stories and pictures that appeared in Surfer magazine during their long trip.
Exotic pictures of never before seen surf breaks mixed with stories of faraway lands and cultures transfixed readers and set the course for generations of future surf travelers. Join Kevin & Craig at the Surfing Heritage Foundation for an intimate evening of surf-travel-adventure stories along with a showing of The Far Shore, a documentary film by Gregory Schell on the duo's high adventures, followed by a Q&A session.

Founded in 2001, the Surfing Heritage Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserve, present, and promote surfing’s heritage for the appreciation and education of current and future generations.
Surfing Heritage accomplishes this through; Preservation-Archiving significant surfboards, photography, oral history, publishing, art, life-style, film, and objects of cultural value; Presentation: creating a world-class museum/resource facility, research library, traveling exhibits, and website content; Promotion: providing one of a kind experiences with the legends of surf culture, through films, exhibits, music, and special events.
