Hobie Cat Australasia’s appointment is Hobie Stand up Paddleboard’s first major step in regards to territorial expansion and distribution into the southern hemisphere. Hobie Cat Australasia plans to emulate the formula for success that has made Hobie Cat catamarans and kayaks leading products in Australia’s water sports market.

Hobie Stand up Paddleboard’s president Jeff Alter mentions, “with the current diverse SUP market from SUP Surfing, to SUP racing and simply paddling we feel that Hobie Cat Aus is in the prime position to expand what we have done here in the USA promoting all aspects of Stand Up Paddling.”
