JellyFix treatment kit neutralizes nemoatocysts from the jellyfish sting
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 November, 2009 : - - When coming in contact with a jellyfish, thousands of cell-like structures attach to the skin. These cell-like structures are called Nematocysts. Nematocysts can randomly activate causing a small stinger type projection to pierce the skin releasing toxins that cause the pain, burning, and rash associated with a jellyfish sting.
Unless properly removed these symptoms can last days. Many popular recommended remedies such as urine, alcohol, meat tenderizer, and even soap and water can actually activate Nematocysts causing increased symptoms. The contents of JellyFix have been proven to first help neutralize and then remove nematocysts from the skin.
JellyFix comes packaged in a water resistant 4”x6”x2” plastic re-closeable clam shell. The packaging contains a hanger tag and will also stand alone. Each treatment kit contains: Neutralizing spray, Cell removal cream, shave card, non latex gloves, cotton pads, post treatment first aid cream, and step by step instruction and information sheet.
While some jellyfish stings can cause serious allergic reactions most stings usually cause annoying pain and burning that can last for hours or days. Unfortunately jellyfish contacts are very common and can ruin a vacation or day in the water. JellyFix is a great product to have available for these types of situations. JellyFix is also available in larger multi-use kits. For more information contact us at BodyQuip.net.
